Cruise in Company Update

ICA cruise in company weekends are proving very popular with 16 boats attending the first one and over 40 boats registered for the Anniversary Weekend Cruise

2011 CRUISE IN COMPANY Program

If you’re not a member and would like to come along and have some fun, see what ICA is all about, or just pick our brains, we’d  love to see you. If you like what you see we can introduce you to membership benefits.

Please contact Windflower on VHF 08 when you arrive at the muster point. Full details of the itinerary will be given at the BBQ ashore and on the 8 on 8 morning sked. All will depend on weather. If Islington Bay is not a suitable anchorage we will make regular announcements on ch 08 VHF.

Saturday 28th to Monday 31st Jan 2011 – Cruise to Kawau and the Mahurangi.

First Muster:- Muster at Islington Bay on the Friday evening for an early start in the morning.

Second Muster:- If you want to get to Mahurangi early, contact either Ranganui, Vivacious, Hobnob or San Serif on Channel 08 VHF when you arrive for further details.

All other details are as per the Cruise to the bottom end above. It is our intention to sail to Mahurangi on the Saturday to watch the Wooden Boat Festival and racing then onto Kawau on Sunday, back to Auckland harbour on Monday to watch some Anniversary Day events, then home.

Saturday 12th February 2011 – Club Picnic at Motuihe. Picnic starts at 11:00, anchorage will be advised on the day, listen to ch 08 VHF for details. If you don’t have a boat and want a ride, let us know early, last year we had plenty of boats happy to take along some extras.

Sunday 6th March to Sunday 20th March 2011 – Cruise to the Bay. For first timers looking to pick our brains or for those of you heading off to the Pacific this is an ideal shake down. Muster is at Islington Bay on the Sunday. Please register early as we will be limiting the numbers.
