Opua Rally Build up – April
At the start of the Cruising Season ICA hold the build up to the fleets departure at Opua in the Magical Bay of Islands, in Northland New Zeland. Our Host club for the build up is the Opua Cruising Club and the program is split into two events, The Opua Cruisers Festival which is open to everyone to attend and the Rally Build up for registered participants.

There are four seminars planned at Opua for the build up to the boats leaving NZ this year for the Pacific.
First up Medical
Tuesday 15th April at the Opua Cruising Club, 4PM to 6PM
Dr. Hoffer and the Paihia Pharmacist – Medical & Prescriptions
Prescriptions will be available the following week.
Tuesday 22nd April at the Opua Cruising Club, 4PM to 6PM
Customs Req’s and Chart marking for the Pacific Islands
Thursday 24th April at the Opua Cruising Club, 4PM to 6PM
Understanding Pacific Weather

If you’ve still got some work to do on the boat, eg. your communications, please plan to be at Opua at least one week prior to the scheduled start and we’ll give you as much help as we’re able.
Sun 27th 1700 – Early Bird get together at the Opua Cruising Club Sunday night is Roast Nite at the Club so be early.
